Our panels are constructed with a fire-proof core, an innovative material that allows us to achieve the highest fire safety certification, tested by Warrington Fire. However, this also imposes specific tolerances within the panels, stiles, and rails.

Our Heritage Fire Doors are custom-made and available in bespoke sizes. Below, you'll find a range of tolerances and dimension guidelines that we adhere to in order to ensure the safety and certification of our fire doors.

Opening dimensions & tolerances

Here you will find a list of maximum dimensions and tolerances for our hardwood timber panel doors. We define flat panel doors as panelled doors without a raised panel. This does not include flat panel doors with decorative beads to create a panel effect. Beading and detail is not included within dimensional tolerances.

Our fire seals are rigorously tested and certified to the highest standards by leading industry manufacturers. They are designed to provide effective smoke seals, ensuring protection for 30 or 60 minutes, depending on the fire rating requirements.

Here, you'll find the dimensions for our Pyroclear glass door specifications. We can provide decorative overlay panels for our fire doors to create a Georgian bar effect. However, we do not offer obscure glass or decorative glass options.
